Open Sessions: midday, first Tuesday of the month. All members welcome.

Our inaugural open session starts tomorrow (7th of March 2017) at midday!

All members are welcome to come along to our first open session.

We will be trialing this open session for the next few months to see if there’s a demand for it, so be sure to sign in every time you’re at the Cottage so we can gauge interest.

We hope to get people from many different groups coming along. This will give kids and adults a chance to meet new people and will mean that if you miss your regular session for whatever reason you can still have some playtime at the Cottage in your week.

A member of the committee will be there each month to make sure the door is open and the vibes are vibin’.

See you there!

2017 Playgroup Victoria Yearly Fees

Our Playgroup operates with the support and insurance coverage of Playgroup Victoria. To attend our Playgroup sessions you must also be a Playgroup Victoria member.

All Playgroup Victoria memberships expire on the 1st of March every year.

As such, if you haven’t renewed your yearly fee yet, or joined for the first time, that time has come.

Please join at www.playgroup.org.au .

You’ll need your membership number from last year ready- if you had one. It should be in an email to you from Playgroup Victoria or on the card they posted to you.

Our Playgroup ID is 3640 and you will need to enter this to pay the fees.

They will email you a receipt which you will then need to forward to  us at enrolments.blpc@gmail.com.

Thank you. If you have any questions or issues at all please contact us.

Best wishes for a wonderful Playgroup year.

Party venue hire

I hope you had a magical Summer holiday season.

Just a wee reminder that our lovely Cottage is available to hire for parties. You don’t need to be a member to take advantage of this.

If you or a friend are interested there is more information on our Party Venue Hire page.

Feel free to message us via Facebook or email.

We hope you’ve had a lovely holiday season and look forward to seeing some of you again after the 23rd of January when we return to business as usual. And by business I mean running around with our buddies like wild things.  And watching over our young spawn I guess…

Best wishes,

BLPC Committee.

Happy Holidays to all our lovely families!

dsc02630

Merry Christmas! We hope you’ve had a wonder-filled year at our Playgroup.

Our 2016 Christmas party was a raging success (IMHO*) and we’re already excited about organising more parties for all the groups to share in 2017!

We are ever thankful for the beautiful natural environment we get to enjoy year round in the Hills and of course for the kind people from all walks of life in our community. If you have any spare love, time, money or excess presents at this time of year consider offering it to those less fortunate than us, nearby and around the world.  We are very thankful too, to all those people who donated time, prizes and just generally helped the Playgroup run smoothly in 2016.

We look forward to hearing any suggestions or ideas for the year ahead. Please email them to us at belgrave.playgroup@gmail.com or come along to the January Committee meeting, (date TBC).

We wish you a peaceful and refreshing holiday season and we look forward to seeing you after the 23.1.17.

Best wishes, the 2016 Committee.

December 2016 Newsletter

Hi BLPC Playgroup Members,
Please find the last Newsletter for 2016 below.
It lets you know the 2016 Summer Cottage Closure dates and Christmas party details among other things.
We thank every last one of you for paying your fees, keeping the place clean and safe for others, signing in for insurance purposes, answering Facebook surveys, hiring the Cottage for your parties, tidying the toys, offering furniture and maybe coming to committee meetings as well. Some of these things may seem trivial but we couldn’t run without them!
To those of you who are moving on to a different life stage next year, and won’t be continuing with us, thank you for being part of our Playgroup up till now. We hope you and your child/children have enjoyed and benefited from the social, physical and educational stimulation that meeting other locals in a safe space can bring. If you have any parting words of advice for us please contact us. Thanks again for being part of our gang.
Stay safe and sane over the busy season. And, as Ellen says, please like us on Facebook.
All the best,
The 2016 Belgrave Lake Park Playgroup Committee

2016 Annual General Meeting

It’s that time of year again.

All our Belgrave Lake Park Cottage Playgroup members and their families are invited to our Annual General Meeting on Monday the 10th of October 2016. The meeting will start at 7.30 pm

We hope you can attend  as there are lots of prizes to be won, food to be eaten, fun discussions to be had about the future of our Playgroup and we also think it’s a great chance to meet with parents and children who attend the Playgroup on different days to yourself.  (Did you know that once you are a member of our Playgroup you can attend more than one session a week? Chat to our lovely Enrolment Officer about who has spaces in their group for drop-ins.)

Please RSVP to us by phone, via email (belgrave.playgroup@gmail.com), Facebook or let your group’s Committee Member know.

We hope to see you there!
